NGK LFR6A-11 spark plug The NGK LFR6A-11 is a V-Power spark plug used in select Yamaha four-stroke outboards and other applications where this exact NGK plug is specified. It is commonly selected for engines that require the LFR6A-11 heat range, reach, terminal style, and gap. Before installation, confirm that LFR6A-11 is the correct plug for your Yamaha model and year. Always follow the recommended plug gap and torque specification for your engine. Original equipment manufacturer approved and an excellent upgrade from standard spark plugs, NGK V-Power spark plugs feature a special V-Groove center electrode and concave ground electrode to increase ignitibility by causing the spark to occur between the edges of the center electrode and ground electrode. The V-Groove center electrode also allows for more area for flame expansion. Trivalent metal plating has superior anti-corrosion and anti-seizing properties.
